However, the best time to visit is the dry season from May to October, when temperatures are very pleasant and wildlife viewing is optimal.

Different visa requirements apply when traveling to Namibia.
Some countries do not require a visa for a stay of up to 90 days for tourism purposes. These include Germany, France, Italy, the USA, Canada and many more.

Upon arrival, immigration will provide an arrivals form; complete it, specifying your temporary address.

The two main network providers in Namibia are MTC and TN Mobile.
You can easily purchase a SIM card upon arrival for 20 NAD (~ 1 EUR / 1 USD) at the Windhoek International Airport or any major city. Make sure to bring your passport for registration purposes.
Both MTC and TN Mobile offer various data packages suitable for tourists, allowing you to access the internet on your phone while driving around Namibia.
